John K. and Margaret Robinson McLennan

John K. McLennan died in 1840, possibly killed by Indians. The rest of this line was gone by 1860.

The following information is from Milam County, Texas: District Court - Civil Minutes, Vol. A (1874-1883), p. 100-10

Cause No. 1054 - S. P. Cox vs. The Unknown Heirs of Aron C. Donn - June 10, 1875 - Affidavit of John Beal - He states he is acquainted with John K. McLennan and his wife Margaret McLennan; that John K. McLennan died in 1840 leaving his wife and one daughter, Helen McLennan to survive; about 1844, Margaret McLennan intermarried with Aron C. Dodd in Milam county; that about 1846 Helen McLennan died leaving her mother Margaret Dodd her only heir; that Margaret Dodd died leaving Neill M. Dodd the fruit of the marriage of Margaret and Aron, her only heir; that Neil Dodd died leaving Aron C. Dodd his only heir.

Cause No. 1054 - S. P. Cox vs. The Unknown Heirs of Aron C. Dodd - June 10, 1875 - Affidavit of W. W. Oxsheer - He states that Aron C. Dodd married in 1844 the reputed widow of John K. McLennan whose christian name was Margaret; that at the time Margaret married Aron Dodd, she had one child, Helen; that in 1846 or 1847, said Helen died; a short time after Helen’s death, Margaret died leaving one son, N. M. Dodd; that Neill M. Dodd, son of Margaret and Aron died in 1849 leaving his father Aron C. Dodd his only heir; that Aron C. Dodd died in 1858 or 1859.
